I recently aquired this pistol and while opening it up to clean it, discovered the sear spring was in two peices. The barrel and lock both bear a spain stamp. The caliber is .45. The outside of the lock is quite decorated as you can see from pix.

This last photo shows where the spring used to be. Any help would be appreciated.

that's a Juker / CVA I've got one just like it mine's .45 cal and is a very good shooter. The locks are hit and miss but can be made to work with a little tinkering. don,t know about finding parts though, I have made sear springs out of used hack saw blades just carefully bend and grind into shape

Thank you so much! Now i have something to go with. Funny... I was thinking about using a saw blade too.

Call the folks at Deer Creek. They will have a replacement and it won't cost you much.

The don't have a web site so you won't find them with a Google or Yahoo search. You'll have to call or write them.

Yup, Deer Creek Products
You can tell them it's for the Jukar/CVA or Traditions Arms Kentuck pistol un-bridled lock and they will have the part.
Probably $4-6 + shipping.
I would talk to them about a new hardened frizzen for it too, around 20.

Thoses things are notorious for poor sparking frizzens, a new one from Deer Creek is huge improvement, might as well take advantage of one shipping fee.
