I was gifted this little guy years ago and never got around to building a carriage for it. It is fireable. Bore diameter looks like .25. This would be my first foray into smoke generating scale artillery. Any idea what the scale is and whether there might be carriage kits for it out there already?

Just guessing maybe 1/15 scale. The cannon appears to be close to 1/2 dia and with a 1/4 inch bore that only leaves 1/8 wall thickness. I would be real careful shooting it with only very light loads. But a nice carriage could be made and it could look nice on a side table.

So I suppose using this thing to spit .22 balls is out of the question then. What load would you recommend for a blank shot?

IF I was to see it in person, might say forget all together or might agree to to 5 to 8 gr. Really hard to say, and would see what some others say to get more opinions.

Dixie gun works has bitty cannons and carriages. Might check there for carriage.
