Trapper Pistol Kit Build Log #36

Just a quickie howgozit by loosely slapping all the main parts into place, so I can see how the finish looks in context, and whether I want to use some dye in the next coat or not:

I guess someone forgot to patina the escutcheons - hah!!
 
When I put together my traditions trapper kit, I got rid of that weird hump and defined the lock panels, cut off that hangy down thingy on trigger guard, then I aged the brass .. I lost all my photos when I destroyed my cell phone last year, but it did turn out nice.

Well, the finish has finally reached the point where the pistol can be assembled. So the various screw holes were drilled, the various adjustments to fit made (surprising always how much at this point), and she's done:
