Everyone talks about TOTW mink oil? I have a can that I use on my boots and other leather articles, not the same thing I’m assuming?
As far as bore butter I’ve used it for years with my pistols and Hawkins rifles and had no complaints, I truly believe it in a way seasoned the cylinders and barrels of the pistols making them easier to clean and piece of mind storing them for long periods. However…… I’m almost sure my patches were over saturated with it, I’d melt it to liquid form then dip them out to cool. Probably didn’t do me any favour's. Anyway didn’t get a chance to try some different things all you guys recommend today cause the wife came down, to the shop hogged the bench and decided she wanted to shoot today! Oh well, always glad to have good company at the bench! As always thanks everyone for your reply’s.
Cullie.
you did the patches correctly been doing it that way since the day bore butter was brought on the market I melt it in a fondu pot with a adjustable temp. I buy it by the gallon and my patching by the bolt

Tried Pyrodex P. First 2 shots I though I was on to something! Then it went down hill from there as you can see!

That's not a terrible group at all. I think with some tweaking, you'll be able to keep them amm in a walnut.

About as good as my phone will do.
Take a magnifying glass and carefully look over the crown for any deformations…any type of bur or defect. Check to make sure that everything is tight along the barrel, and there is no slop; sights tight, barrel snug in the barrel channel…etc.

Of all the common calibres, the little .32 can be very finicky to get it to shoot consistently. Once you get it to shoot, it is a pure pleasure; it sips powder and dribbles lead. Wonderful way to enjoy blackpowder and conserve resources.

5 shot string from a clean barrel. Not sure which shot flyer was, didn’t look at target till I’d shot all 5. So….. drift front sight left to move impact left? As far as elevation I’d either need a taller front sight or show more “post” with my hold? Thanks.

Push rear sight hair to the left and file down the front sight about 5 strokes. Shoot for group. Taller front sight will lower poi.

I am having a had time understanding why my round balls are coming out of the mold 19 out of 20 times oversized.
It’s like .442 to .444 out of a .440 mould.Other than that they are ok. Anyone have this trouble before?
