Help with Cabelas Hawken

Hi folks. I have a Cabelas Hawken that I plan to shoot this summer. However, I do not have an instruction manual that covers disassembly and reassembly, which I'd like to know before I attempt to clean it! Can someone briefly describe how to disassemble? Many thanks.

Pull hammer back, remove ramrod, remove wedges and the barrel should come out. I would guess that this is the percussion model? Then you will need a nipple wrench and maybe a small screwdriver (to remove the cleanout screw).

Hey CJ, that gun is made by Invesarms Spa of Italy. Go to this site and they will send yu the manual. Not that it is so compicated, but it is good to have the manual:

I bet if you go to a Cabelas store or call them, they will give you a manual for free.

Download the users manual from the Lyman website. It's the same rifle as the Lyman Trade Rifle.
