It looks like a Fowler or maybe military musket that has been much modified and abused. It was likely originally a flintlock converted to percussion and the barrel probably has been cut back significantly from its original length. I’m sure some experts will weigh in with better information.

That is blurring the line between restoration and resurrection .
It definitely needs some work that's for sure I would like to get a replacement stock for it as I don't think it is worth alot as it is but be nice to have it looking nice

Looks like the guy that had that before you got really mad at it and whacked it against a post a few times. You’ll not find a replacement stock for it. One will have to be hand made. Unless you can do that yourself I’d relegate the parts to the parts bin and call it a day. That thing is rough.

It do look like that I do have a stock here that I could make fit but did want a original style or if possible so my have to make one all the other parts are salvageable and are usable again so will see what I can do

It has been said down through time , that some original guns were stocked , built , from parts of broken guns , and those ones just salvaged usable parts. Since this has become known in my lifetime , one of my favorite rifles is stocked with used iron parts recovered from a shed fire.
