For wood I use Freddie Harrison or Dunlap. http://www.harrisongunstocks.net/

What type of parts are you looking for?

I always purchase sheet silver through a lapidary. Huge difference between nickel and silver. Seems nickel is all the gun shops sell.

Susie at Muzzleloader builders' supply should have sheets of sterling silver, among many other things.

Well, I just looked, and their website doesn't show silver sheet (though they may still carry it..they used to). They do have a few silver inlays and some cast silver thumbpieces and such, along with silver wire.

I have done business with them in the past and have been very pleased. But, still buy my silver from the jewelry people.

I've gotten wood from Wayne Dunlap and Pecatonica and have been really happy with the wood I've purchased from both of them. I have a grade three blank from Dunlap with fantastic curl. Can't help much with the source of silver sheet. I know that some people have used old coins (pre-1965 US coins where silver).
