Anyone own one? I'd like to have one some day. Would make a cool piece to touch off on the 4th of July, or to launch cement filled cans up into the farmers field across the street( I'd retrieve them of course).

I don’t have one but I bought Herns half scale Napoleon. Great guy to deal with. Good cannon for the money.

Do you fire it or was it simply for a conversation piece? Is there a kit or plans to build the carriage? I've had my eye on that one too.

going to fire it soon. just as a noise maker and smoke and fire. finally found a place to test fire it without county sheriff being called !!! no plans to scale that I know of. took a while but I built a fiels carriage that works and ordered hickory wheels from amish wares in Penn. or much easier to build a naval carriage. I did s build along on it in the cannon section if you want to see it.

Here's my 2 1/4" bore on a cart I made for it; they are a real stinker to move around otherwise. The mortar's bed is of ash using Hern's plans and hardware.
