Howdy, and welcome! Yes, the Hawken definitely qualifies.Just got a NEW ENGLANDER .50cal, by Thompson arms, unfired, looks new. Does this count for a smokepole muzzloader?
Only fired a muzzleloader one shot,40 years ago.... need advice and instruction. Look forward to getting into this sport...
have nothing yet, what do i need?Very few public ranges that I know of most shoot on private land where they can find a good back stop. There might be a range north side of Noblesville I will try to get you a name. Do you have everything you need to shoot?
thanks, really appreciate itSome real Blackpowder, a few different thicknesses of patches Patch lube, appropriate size lead balls, a short starter and some #11 caps as I am assuming it is a Caplock. Then some basic cleaning materials. I am headed to Misssissippi to crappie fish for a week but when I get back I will make you a nice sized starter kit as a gift and get it to you. I am in the Fishers area about every day with work.
