I just thought I'd post this picture from year before last in Florida to get y'all fired up.
If all goes well I'll be there Saturday morning, and I'll be totin' a 20 gauge flinter this time. :winking:

Did ya eat the rattler? Or is it some other kind of meal? Hope you have as good luck with the new flinter. Good luck.

Good deal!!! You gotta love them leggy Osceola's!!!

Where were you Florida?? There's ton's of 'em around Kissimmee and Hatchineha.

3 nice Toms... but that one in the middle looks like a real dandy!

Good luck with the flinter this year - I'll be looking forward to your pics!

Rebel, I didn't eat this one, but I've eaten them before. Taste kinda like chicken! :haha:

Adam, I'll be in N Florida around Crestview hunting Easterns. I got to take a trip to Ocala though about 4 years ago and got 2 Osceolas.

Baron, they were all nice longbeards, and the diamondback was 60" long!! :shocked2: I dang near stepped on him in a Yopan thicket. I survived, but my underwear was a total loss. :shake:

Thanks everybody for the comments and well-wishes. I'll be sure to post pictures if I'm lucky enough to take some.

hummmm, always thought rattlers taSTED KINDA LIKE BALD EAGLES my self..

good luck on your hunt and ..ttfn..grampa..

FW,

turns out as well...let us know.
snake-eyes:hatsoff:

I wish you well on the hunt. Last night the weather guru said we will be getting 2-4" of snow tonight and into Sunday morning. He also stated that there will be pockets where it will snow 5 or more inches. I live in one of the pockets.

So turkey is on my mind but it would be futile to scout for them now.
