Hi I do the early muzzle loading season for deer here got myself a doe this year and last year got a young 8 point buck,I use the side hammer 50cal. I have ones that I use sabots and also got one that is ball and patch.I need to get better at use of my 58cal civil war musket. One day i want to use it for deer hunting. I came on here to learn more on the use of the muzzle loader and tips of what can be done also .I do cast my own bullets and balls and I also reload centerfire rifle and handgun and cast for them also and also reload shot gun.I do trapping also. Season just open here and the rain slow down on setting traps.Here to learn as much as I can. thank you
