Hi

I've been lurking for a little while, so I think it's time to introduce myself. Currently I live in Northern Wisconsin , but I have lived/traveled through the south and east. Flintlocks are my main interest, but I also have percussion caps. I been shooting for most of my life and muzzle-loaders for about 25 years. I quit hunting awhile back, but paper is a different story. Yesterday I went to the range and the snow was about hip deep to get the target hung and it didn't take very long for the fingers to get frosty. I'm not sure if I shot enough to get my fix.

I'm always interested in other opinions. A thing or two has tweaked my interest.

Well, won't make you cry by saying it was 70 down in central Texas today, but....

Anyway, welcome to the gang. Sounds like you've gotten used to the basics. Lots of knowledge and experience here, and there's always a big interest in getting folks started in the world of rock locks. Feel free to ask questions or make comments.

Warmest day in a long time. Got up to 8. :shake:

Back in the 90's I was at a shoot in the Ozarks and was caught with a diamond file. Seems they didn't take to kindly to a Dura Flint being used.

:eek:ff ps Worked Spring Break in South Padre Island/Port Isabelle in 1982. More fun than shooting a Poorboy.

Welcome to the forum! Its takes a little bit of cabin fever to get a man to wade hip deep in snow to get a BP fix.

Welcome to the forum!

I haven't gotten so brave yet as to head for the range. I'll go out hunting in this stuff, but won't go out in it to shoot paper...well maybe a few shots to test something right by the house.
