It’s very crude. The lock engraving is terrible and the gaps between wood and metal are severe. My guess is a painted restock using some old parts.
P.s., that butt plate screw is a killer😝
I already know what it is, Swiss collectors told me that it is a 100% original Swiss musket from end of the 17th century.Stamped with the town marking of a B within a shield , for the town of Baar in the Canton of Zug, lockplate struck with a maker's mark of SK over a Suhl hen. I dismantled the barrel and the date underneath is 1687

Looks original from here. Perhaps a military musket.

You did not say what the bore diameter is - but the stampings on the barrel's breech ' 16 G GUNIRON ' would seem to indicate that the bore is 16 ga. (nominally .663"), and the barrel material is gun iron, which is proper for the period, but would not have been an original marking found on a Swiss (or likely any other European) musket of that era. I suspect that those markings were added later when the musket went into the inventory of one of the surplus dealers in such arms.

I am certainly no expert, but my first thought is that this gun is too far advanced technologically for the late 1600's. And, if its Swiss, why would "Gun Iron" be in English? So, things just don't add up for me. It is old, but IMHO it is something that has been cobbled up from various miscellaneous parts, with some new markings added.
I am suspecious.

Caliber is about 13 mm (European measurement)

It doesn't look modern, here are examples from the Internet

That is even more confusing - 13mm is about .51" ( .51 caliber), which is much smaller than any contemporary musket bore - is there any evidence that the bore has been reduced by lining?

Sorry, my son measured with a ruler and gave me the dimension of 13 mm ))))))). I measured it myself with a caliper and the dimension was about 17mm

That is more logical - 17mm is .669", which is a likely bore for a musket of that era.
