I'm looking for some patterns/ideas to make my own shot flask or a shot snake. I'm also looking for a reasonably priced English or Irish charger to use on it. [I did find the chargers for $45. But I can buy a complete snake for $50, so I'm looking for a cheaper source for the chargers]. If I can't find more reasonable prices I'll just use a plug.

Contact me and I will e-mail you pictures of the one I made. The head is made of a collection of brass tubing and sheet brass from the hardware store, a piece of hacksaw blade for the spring and a leather and wood pouch.

it is very nice i saw it and i think i might have to make me one i would never use it but just to saw i did it is very nice and simple but good looking :front:

I think what he made looks GREAT. :front: I won't post his pictures since they do belong to him [copyrights and all that]. But I now have enough visual information to make a similar one. Although his is a "flask", I think I'll make a "snake" using his spout as a pattern. :hmm:

If anyone would like to see the pictures, please let me know and I will e-mail them to you. I haven't figured out how to post pictures yet.
