I have use MAP( M is murphy-A is alcohol-P is peroxide for 20 some years. I use equal parts of each. Only takes a little to clean your gun. I don't leave it in long, just tilt gun up and down,let run out with gun upside down to clean out the breach area. Then rinse with a little water, then dry and oil,must oil as it takes it to the bare metal. I use it for my pinned barrels. Dilly
