Made a pan charger using some deer antler and the dispensing tip from one of those brass chargers. Added a blued/browned 5/16” threaded cross to the end cap to refill it, which was made from a “thumb screw” and gives it a pleasing side profile.

Also another “trick” is to apply very thin CA glue to the threads after you tap them, then retap the threads again once dry. This makes the threads much more precise and much stronger, especially in softer woods.

When "glueing" wood or horn threads I run a bees wax coated screw in and out quickly to get rid of any glue puddling in the threads,Also if the threads are on the wooden screw I use a waxed nut for the same purpose.

I don't know who made this one but it was a great job. Cow horns can be make into neat little primers by using the tip only. I really like this one.
It's the second one from the left. On the far right is one made by and gifted by a forum member many years ago. From a deer legbone.
