WANTED Hooked Breach Plug And Tang

I need a Hooked plug and tang for 3/4 inch octagon barrel 9/16 by 18 thread . I have not been able to find one at any supplier any help would be appreciated thx in advance

I don't ever recall seeing that small a hook breech anywhere. I would like to find a source though.

THX the hawkin shop only had for 1 inch barrel and mine is 3/4 Deer creek has the tang put not the plug I will call to see if he has breech plug tomorrow

From what I understand, the guy that used to cast these either died or retired and no-one has picked up the slack. If you have access to a tang, the hook can be cut and filed from a an existing plug. I made the last three I used from angle iron and a regular plug, lots of cutting and filing, but they work. Good luck!!!!

You can use a bolt for the hooked breech plug and fit it to the tang. I used a grade five bolt and made one on my english rifle.

I have ordered the tang from Deer Creek will make my breech plug myself thx for the help
