If you are looking for an almost perfect, factory H&A Underhammer .50 then STOP reading now. If your looking for a useable Underhammer with a few imperfections then this might make a good hunting or target rifle for you. The rifle is .50 with a 32” barrel, the bore looks good and is rust free. The rifle functions as designed and is mechanically sound. With that said I would like to point out that the barrel has extra filled holes where a scope was most likely mounted. The joint between the breach plug and barrel has a very thin shim that was used to align the takedown pin. That is not uncommon on this design and has no effect on function. The rear sight is a replacement adjustable sight. LOP is about 13 3/4 and I am not certain if the butt plate is original or changed. I believe most of these were 1/56 ROT and were designed as a bullet rifle. I have a shorter one that I shoot often and it shoots RB well also. If your interested or have questions Please PM, I may not see a question in the thread. Price $350 shipped in lower 48.
