For sale is this handsome flat Powder Horn, number 55. It is a nice size for either strap carrying (left or right), or inside a shooting bag. (Equally appropriate for display!)
The horn measures almost 10" along the bottom, from spout to Mahogany base which is 2.25" wide and just over 3.25" high. The stopper is Black Walnut.
This was one of those horns where I had finished doing the border work and was thinking about what design or image to put on the body of the horn. The mandala just popped into my mind's eye as I was looking at the blank space, and I sketched it onto the horn and was really happy with the simplicity and elegance of it. The center dot is browned ink to match the Mahogany base plug.
I am asking $290 + $15 shipping for this horn to your door (lower 48 states).
Thanks for looking!
Bob
