i'm done with my horn till i get the tacks, staple and strap....wilde weavery will be making mine the first of march, it will be a brown, beige and grey color weave....so here's my progress as i went from raw horn to finished horn....i had a gap between the base plug and horn bout 1" long by 1/16" wide after i glued it in cause the fit was real snug i didn't know if i would be able to pull it out after test fitting it....so i just eye balled the flatness on the end of the horn, i guess i was off just a tad....after filing a groove all the way around the seam with my triangle file i mixed up some brownells arca-gel with some red food coloring added to give it some contrast from the plug and horn color :v .............bob

Nice horn,
I also like the step by step pictures :thumbsup:
I bought two junk horns from track a couple months ago,(junk)is an over statement for them.

See there ain't nuthin to it! Real slick on the horn-wood seam,I have a lathe to turn plugs and a belt sander to flush the horn base and I still manage to get a gap!

:hatsoff: Nice job Bob! It's a pretty good feeling when you finish up a horn, look at it and say "I built that" ain't it?
Thanks for sharing;
