Check with knifemaker suppliers. Sheffields Knifemakers Supply has them. Others should also have them.

Just my hubble opinion but why not use ones from a hunt you were on. They can be used for generations and have a story behind them to be passed down through your family and so can the animal they were harvested from rather than being purchased from unknown whereabouts.

I just go shed hunting around this time of year and keep all the sheds I find then when I want to make a measure I pick the one I think is the thickest for it. BTW I almost finished my second one today but will finish it tomorrow.

That's what I was thinking too. I have several sheds I've found. Got to beat the rodents to them because they chew the antlers up. While you are out in the woods you can look for morel mushrooms too! Also dig some sassafrass roots for tea before the leaves come on. Better hurry It's mid april now.

Ah Sasafrass tea ! This is the first year in the last twentynine I haven't dug my years supply of roots ( bad back problems ) Here in Ohio it is already past time for digging the premium roots. But hopefully I can get some dug tomorrow if all goes well.
