I have used Hot Shot nipples on several of my rifles. I have always had good results with them. All have been 1/4-28 thread. I am trying to find these in the metric thread size, 6mm-.75 for my Lyman Great Plains Rifle and have had no luck. Does anyone know of a source for these? Are they still manufactured? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Fuzzy Sites.

I checked the website and he had none listed but you might shoot Melvin an email to see if he has any left.

Melvin is Clear Creek Trading CO. in Kearney Mo. Web site:

www.clearcreektradingco.com

He used to carry them, that's what I used as well, so he may have some left or could offer a good alternative. He is a great guy and very knowledgeable.

I would think Cabela's also... Their Hawken Rifle is made by Investarms, same company that makes the GPR, and both have the 6mm x .75 nipple..... Dixie Gun Works has them listed under Stock # NP1110... It's a Hot Shot Nipple... www.dixiegunworks.com
