How do trades work

I’m just curious, I’m pretty new to the forum, and I’m wondering how trades work here? Does each person just pay shipping on the item they’re shipping to the other? Got something I’d like to trade.

That is how i normally do it unless one person is shipping something a lot bigger and heavier. They one or the other may help out with the shipping. But maybe not.

It's whatever you and the other party agree to. Usually if it's a sale the buyer pays the shipping the seller incurs, but for a trade, that's a whole different scenario. In both cases, though, it's open to negotiation. I've made a couple purchases where we agreed to split the shipping.

I have a Uberti Colt Walker I was thinking about trying to trade for a Remington 5 1/2” .44.
