How do you carry your priming horn?

I carry a priming horn but prime with one of those brass chargers that has a spring loaded nipple on it. I tie a leather wang on the end that is attached to the ring on the bag. When I need it I just pull on the wang and out it comes. It lays on top of the plunder in the bag.

The horn is used to refill the charger when needed. Also, the strap on the priming horn is smaller in diameter than the flat strap of the main horn. So, I punched a few holes in the main strap and threaded the priming horn strap through them. Now they no longer get tangled up and they ride together very well. The smaller horn rides a little higher than the main horn.

I don't always need the priming horn but I like the way it looks with the other horn so I carry it anyway. I realize that most of the stuff I carry really isn't necessary. But with me aesthetics is everything, so that's the way it is.
:haha:

I have to agree with Mr.Vallandigham.I make paper cartridges and only carry what I really need into the woods with me.Best regards,J.A.
