How do you give the brass a aged look?

Any ideas on how to give that brass a aged appearance nice antque patina so on ? :hmm:
 
Thanks for the link I looked back through but realy didnt find anything will try some of these ideas ! :)
 
Use your dirty cleaning patches to rub down your brass, it will get that aged look in no time.
 
I followed the advice of a furniture restorer who told me to expose the brass parts to household ammonia fumes.

Don't immerse the parts but suspend them over some fresh amonia in a closed container overnight. The parts will look pretty dull but just need to be lightly polished with some rubbing compound. Note that cast parts and sheet parts will have a noticably different patina.
