This is my first lockolat molding and I needan honest opinion does it look good or shold I nix it?

Your lock panels need to be thinner. That beaver tail also,unless your trying to copy something.
It's hard to tell.from the photo. Your carving looks really deep.
Also hard to tell from the photo, get your gun to final dimensions, and sanded, before you start carving anywhere on the gun.
