I'm 71. My father started building muzzleloaders in the late-1950's and he made my first when I was 8 y/o. I took my first deer with it the next year. Shown is me with my latest acquisition, a .40 cal barn gun.

57. I'm not really sure when I started shooting muzzleloaders as I don't try to remember stuff like that. I have been an instructor for muzzleloaders for about 5 years now.

I'm 64 always was a small collector of War Time rifles and had a few when I was in my early 50's. Then started playing with muzzleloaders during the Covid crap. Had an old 410 ball ML long gun got a few years prior the plandemic in a thrift store for $80 its called a Monkey Gun. Was bored out of my mind, so I decided clean it as it was a wall hanger at that time and said what the heck, if covid wont kill me neither will this...(wife and I and my 90 year old Mom had it and we plowed thru it being unvaxed when it first came out, and we stayed unvaxed ) So out came some BP, lead balls etc and it works great!! So that started my jump into BP collecting having a few now already and no end in site lolol. So at 64 I feel like 24 when I'm shooting my muzzleloaders. I love them!!
