66 and 8 months here. Bought my first Dixie Gun Works Kentucky .45 caliber flintlock kit when I was 16. Wow, that was 50 years ago - half a century!

thought l'd join in / 85, been shooting muzzleloaders since l was 11.
if l remember right, my first subscription to 'muzzle blasts' expired in 1951
Hi Brian

I think that may be some sort of record. LOL

I'll be 74 next month. First started shooting "real" black powder when I was 14. But, if I include the toy wood & metal Parris guns from the 1950's/early 60's that shot cork balls with grennie-stick-um-caps, I was 8 or 9. LOL Never out-grew it.

Rick

I will turn 74 in two months, God Willing. So far so good. I have owned ML's for 50 yrs but do not shoot them very often because frankly, i am to lazy to clean them!!! I need to do better!
