How smooth do it have to be?

Anybody hone / lap / polish the inside of your soothbore?
If so, how?
Is it worth the trouble? easier loading? less fouling? easier cleaning?

I think you can gain more performance from lapping any barrel, smooth or not...

Anybody near you does spill boring, if so its a lot easier than 100 up and 100 down.

Spill boring is an old way of reaming barrels...

The exact method is a bit fuzzy to me, but that's what it is...
