I got tired of looking at the boards where my guns are hung up, with so many nail holes and marks over the years. So I decided I wanted somethng for a back ground like a Tapestry or something similar. I came across this blanket/throw at Sportsmans guide for under 40 bucks and the measurements were perfect, so I bought it. My cousin was down visiting and here for the Air Show this weekend and when he stopped I put him to work. :haha: I like it, it made my gun wall look a lot better.

I didn't want to use the same pegs I use to hold the guns for to hang my bags up because I only have a few more, enough for two more guns.

So having a few antlers from 3 pointers, I took a couple and made hangers by drilling the tips and epoxying screws inside, made good use of them.

Well looks like another new line to add to your resume..Interior decorating..Looks good Swampy

Looks good. Wondering if the screws broke loose at all in the antler tips while screwing them to the wall?

I used a good epoxy, my Uncle works at a hardware store and brought me over the best they had when I told him what I wanted to on another project, not sure if it is a 5 minute epoxy but probably is. We pre-drilled the holes first then screwed in the antler tips and they are pretty tight and showed no sign of popping or cracking. I drilled close to an inch depth put some epoxy in then the screw, then filled to the end of the antler with epoxy and propped the screws up straight, let sit over night. It's pretty solid.

Cool, much better than my display. All my guns lean in corners... :haha: Good news is the new house we'll move to has even more corners! AND a built in gun cabinet in the wall! :applause:
Great to see you busy again.

Yeah and I owe it all to this little gal who came a long at the right time and forced me out of bed which has done a lot to strengthen my back and get the exercise I really needed. I hate to think where I'd be without her.

:haha: She seems to be growing straight up. She was the runt and weighed 6 lbs when I got her but weighs 45 lbs now. She's on that Blue Buffalo Pup food and gets as much as she wants, no Human food at all. She's quite fit actually.

Whooooo! I like everything about that, even the .22 shells under the shelf (those must be .22 magnums ). That took some design skill. I can see that the dog awards are very special to you.

If any of you guys have seen Beauty and the Beast, where Gaston is singing about his decorating techniques, well, there it is. Bill.

Well I just have to brag.

Since day one I've always had her bring back the tennis ball to my right hand and give me the ball without me fighting for it or bending over, of which I can't do to well. She's always been great in doing that. Well a friend gave me a "Chuck-It", an orange thing you put the tennis ball in and really whip it a ways....I put it in my left hand and hold out my right when she brings the ball back, well after a while she started to come to my left side and was actually bumping into the cup of the "Chuck-It", I thought it was funny at first and it showed how smart she is but last night she actually succeeded in putting the ball in the cup and letting go of it. :shocked2: I was speechless! And pretty damn proud. Not quite 7 months old yet and continues to amaze me everyday how she minds me and what she does.
