Very good. I was wondering how you would ever lengthen the bolt arm should the need ever arise. I'd imagine early timing is a more common malfunction than late timing.
Well, "lengthening" within its given parameters. What I'm talking about is "giving" more length to the arm by removing material towards the front. I'm just interested in creating flexibility.
Typically you have late timing from the factory with the bolt dropping on the edge of the locking notch. Ideally it should be on the cylinder fully before the notch . . . another 1/2 width if your gonna get "fancy" with it !!
