Niice!

Question for ya though, why didn't you cover more of the pistol, I mean to me the front of the trigger guard should be lower against the top of the holster, no? Regardless it does look good.

Pedersoli now makes a clamp-on stock for their Howdah, to turn it into something more akin to a short carbine. I'm not sure how that makes it more useful. For repelling boarders on an elephant's back, the Howdah is just about perfect. I suppose for repelling boarders on a square-rigged ship, a stocked Howdah might be even better.

At least the stock would take up some of the 4.5 lbs of the gun. It would make the gun a lot more steady..shadowalker

I ran two sets of stitches along the edges; than cross stitched them together. There is no way to get your hands into such a small space. I am sure a lot of people on this forum use the same method...shadowalker

Just old and dumb I guess. I see how it's done now. A baseball stitch works well in situations like that. I admire the tooling and finish on the holster.

The age is creeping up on me to. I turn 65 in sept.,and this is the way I keep busy. Glad you like it..thank you....shadowalker
