Hi Rick!
I'm only a couple of hours south of you.
If you like reenacting Civil War-era stuff, and you'd like to try your hand at some competition shooting with black powder firearms from the era of the American Civil War, we'd love to have you come shoot with us in the North-South Skirmish Association. I just picked up a new team mate just over the border in TN.
We shoot revolvers, smoothbore muskets, rifled muskets, carbines, and repeaters. Of course you don't have to do all of these things. You only need one gun to participate.
All of our shoots but one are at Brierfield Ironworks State Park just south of Birmingham, AL. We have one shoot in November in Eva, TN.
