Just saying hi!
Just getting into black powder, but have been shooting for 45 years and reloading for a couple of decades. I just got a Pietta 1860 .44 revolver a couple of weeks ago and have begun to shoot it. It was my birthday present (which happens to be today Nov 30th). I figured a guy born in 1960 needed a 1860 type pistol!
I shot it some over the Thanksgiving holidays and it is nice. I also have a Cimmaron Uberti .45 revolver which I might load up some black powder rounds for. Currently I load smokeless for it. The other gun I have that has black powder origins is my Great-grandad's Winchester 1892 44-40 made in 1895. I'm sure most of the cartridges he fired in it were black powder. I'm on several black powder and shooting forums under the same name....twobit.
