Howdy folks....been looking for just a good muzzleloading forum for a while. Most folks want to shoot 1000 yards these days, not 50 to 100 yards at animals......sad, hunting is gone and only shooting remains.
My family and I enjoy the Rondy's too, but with both parents with cancer the last two years its been tough.....
Just built a flint, full stock hawkin in .54 for huntin' Colorado deer and elk this year....
HOWDY!!

Thanks GW....many a buck, many a cow elk, and one bull have subcome to my aim!! My 15 year old boy did Colorado with me last year and killed himself a 150+ mulie. I tried to out-do him, but alas my 4X4 was 145in.
Great memories!!!
do you do ML hunting in NE California???

:idunno:
no we did not....everyone who we go with bailed out....but we will do Paiute Creek and Trout Creek!!(got married at Trout 16 years ago, good Rendevous wedding)
Shining Times just around the corner!!

Grats to you and your son.

Haven't hunted north of Redding. Some folks from town here hunt Modoc when they can draw that area. GW
