Just picked up a Euroarms 1860 Army and a Uberti 1849 Pocket. I think I have Dad talked out of Hawken that used to shoot way back when I was younger as well. It's been many years since I fired black powder, but I still remember the smell.

The smell of black powder goes up your nose and affects something in the brain that somehow causes money to dribble out of your billfold at an ever increasing rate. No known cure.
I had some friends who had a gold mine in Orange co. Va. in the 60's. Don't think they got rich but they kept beans on the table.

They say the sense of smell is the gateway to the memory. I agree. The smell of blackpowder is something I won't get tired of and it takes me back to my younger days. Welcome aboard.
