Howdy from Colorado!

I've been lurking here in the forums long enough and would like to get more involved. Most recently took a pronghorn here on the eastern Colorado plains with my .54 Green River Leman Indian trade gun. Hope to continue to learn from the members here and contribute what I can, when I can!

Congrats on your pronghorn. Word is that they are very hard to get close to?

They certainly can be! I was lucky enough to hunt the rut and the bucks can be very territorial. After sneaking in to 150 yards, I used a decoy. The buck came running to chase away the “intruder” and stopped only 40 yards away!
