CAPS! Like the 'ammo shortage' of a couple years back, there's Caps out there; being held in reserve by the very people that own them. Dealers, distributors, all waiting for caps to turn into gold via 'demand inflation'. Stock up NOW on modern ammo for your newer guns, the supply it tightening around Labor Day in anticipation of the election. Hope I'm wrong, but the past few years was a warning experience.

Agreed, if they can't take our firearms (which thankfully they haven't been able to do yet) then they will make ammo scarce and therefore even more expensive than it already is, if you can get it at all. A gun without ammo is a club.

Door fees...geeze don't get me started.
Gun shows in my area were $5 to get in pre covid, that quickly went to $7, then $8...now there all $10...per day.
The latest kicker... last one I went to was $20, good for the 2 day weekend they said, I said I only want to go in today, sorry, $20 please.
Legal thievery! There’s so much of that today.

All the shooting supplies and caps are in the closet of some idiots like my thankfully dead moron father in law , who bought up everything to sit on it and quadruple his money when” Da Gubbermint” banned everything. That and having some weird idea that when civilization collapsed, he would be some kind of big cheese or something, doling out ammo to those who met his approval. When these people die off, the stuff will flood the market.
