How do you guys arrange your hunting bags? Do you have one for each type of gun or do you use one bag for every type of gun, be it rifle, shotgun, pistol, etc? Thanks

For the longest time I used one bag and changed the contents depending on what rifle I was shooting. Just this summer I decided I wanted a bag for each gun. I spent the $$ and set up and bag and horn for each rifle that I shoot regularly - that includes the contents. This way, I just grab the rifle and the bag that goes with it, knowing I'll have everything I need. I'm not sure if it's better. It cost me some $$ too. What I did get was some cool new BP gear to enjoy, so that's a win for me. :)

A bag and horn for each 45 and 50 with everything for a good day out and a range box for pistols and rifle with plenty of powder, balls and patches and some spare flints for a great range day

At the moment I have one bag and horn that I use for everything, since all I have right now are .50s. I’ll probably end up making another set when I get something of a different caliber or get bored of what I have now.

Until recently just one bag. I have a tool/flint wallet for each caliber and grab the one I need for whatever I'm shooting. General tools, a lock cover and pan priming items are interchangeable and stay in the bag.
Added a fowler to the mix and decided to add a dedicated bag, since the volume of stuff seemed to go up compared to rifle.

I always felt that one bag and one horn is all that's needed. But between messing around with leather and a couple of gifts from friends I've ended up with 4 bags and three horns that will not be for hunting. I like to tinker and am planning on making another bag before too long. I just do this stuff because it's fun.

I have two bags per caliber - one set up for PRB's, the other for conicals.

Depending on when/what I'm hunting, I grab the appropriate bag.

Since I roll my own, the only expense for my bags was some leather. (I work for free ;) )

I enjoy making as much of the required shooting needs, I have a complete set for each rifle, .32 - .50 - .54 - .62 and the 20 ga smoothie. Just pick up the gun and bag complete with horn and priming horn, as stated each gun has its own flint wallet, tool kit, cows knee also.

I do have a bag and horn for each. Really push for minimal
Saw dualist .54 and Black Powder TV leaving ball loose in the bag, it works well. So now I go with patch, flint grease and turn screw worm and that serves me

For recreational shooting I have a bag for each gun. Each gun also has its own horn or flask.

For revolvers, I have one bag. All of my revolvers currently are .36 caliber, so one bag will keep all three fed.

For deer hunting, I have a three-pocket belt pouch that is specifically for powder, cap, and ball. I carry a small shoulder bag with water, first aid, and other essentials.

I use a belt bag, arranged for fast loading. Balls in a inside pouch. Patch tins on the outside pouch.
All the support gear and pan charger in the main pouch.
Around my neck, the powder measure & short starter.
The horn is on the left side away from the flinchlock.
