I bought a lifetime licence 3 years ago. $965.00 It includes big game, small game, bow, muzzleloading, and freshwater fishing. It also includes turkey and free doe tags. This is in New York. We now have to pay $10.00 per year for a saltwater stamp, However the lifetime licence is still valid even if I move out of state. This year they went up to $1265.00 and doe tags cost $10.00 each.

Yeah thats what it is for lifetime lic on 0-4 year olds in Alabama. It didn't even dawn on me to check on it until my son turned 5. Still gonna get it as soon as funds will allow, just could have saved a hunnered if I had been up on it more.

Amen Wildatheart. And the price for the standard license also entitles ye to hunt squirrels/rabbits/ringnecks/grouse and flatland griz for months. Audie...the Oldfart...

On the other hand, I fully understand his frustration. Those that still have jobs are limited in the days they can hunt, and when they do get out, they sit all day and see nothing. Tough hunting in eastern PA.

Basic hunting license in Oregon is $29.50. plus $14.50 for a bear tag, $24.50 for deer, $42.50 for elk ad nauseum.
This year I bought the SportsPac license for $164.75. This gets me hunting and fishing license, salmon/steelhead/sturgeon tag, deer tag, elk tag, bear tag, cougar tag and a spring turkey tag.
OUCH!

Remember the old days when we'd just buy a hunting licence, and you hunted anything you wanted?

Sort of like a fishing licence now. I don't even have to pay for my fishing licence now. Free for past 64 years old. I wish hunting was the same way.
