I fired mine for 2/3 years till the sear spring finally broke and the frizzen dulled. But again, just blanks. Eventually, Miroku (I think ?) introduced their copy of a British Dragoon pistol, most of us are familiar with. Owned one of those also. It was the first mass-produced, commercially avaailable militartary "style" smoothbore flint pistol offered to the market. The pistol posted here pre-dates the Miroku I believe. There was simply no other choices on the maket during these years. Which is probably why Miroku sold so many of those Dragoon pistols. They still turn up everywhere second hand.
