You may or may not be familiar with this item. Sold in the late 1950's-early 60's by the always enterprising HyHunter of California. Massive flintlock with a .720 bore, coned to even larger dimensional muzzle (internally). 10 1/4 inch barrel, a little over 17 inches long in toto. These were made in Germany, and so marked. This particular example has never been fired, but has still managed to garner its' share of surface rust through neglect. This very same pistol was mine in the early 1960's. I subsequently gifted it to a friend who displayed it prominently all these years, but he is going into a retirement community, and last week asked if I wanted it back ( I of course said, sure). I've monkeyed with it a bit to clean up it's cosmetic appearance, but the exterior of the lock (and maybe the internals) will need some additional TLC. To the uninitiated, this is a rather striking piece sure to cause a comment, and I also know of no reason why it shouldn't be able to be shot (after having it "checked" of course). Pmt. via PMO only. I will not ship to those states not friendly to BP, unless to an FFL. $125. shipped to CONUS. I can supply photos to an E-mail address. Thanks.
