A good thing to do when you proof test pattern welded barrels is to wrap them in white paper. If there are any paths from inside to outside, they'll show up.

By the way, as one of the moderators suggested, it really is helpful if you indicate the subject of your post in its heading.

"I bought me one" sounds like spam. On this forum, even the spam is fun to read, but when I'm in a hurry I skip such stuff.
