Trouble with that "gun tuners notion" is there are more than a few of us been shooting steel frame short arbor guns for years without end fitting and they're still going. I believe end fitting to improve them as I've done so to several of mine but they will give good service without it for many years. The majority short arbor guns out there will never be fixed and they'll keep right on working to most owners satisfaction.Never said that, I have seen and fixed a few of them that beat themselves into a paperweight. If you don't want to believe it that's fine go ahead and keep your head in the sand.
