I should be moving in June or July, God willing. Right now I am trying to find work as a teacher in North Carolina, or nearby. Have a teacher job fair coming in late May. I'd be outa' here already, but it is almost impossible to save enough; you have to just do it. Sofie the dog is, unfortunately, my ex-girlfirend's. One very smart little critter that dog! I miss that little beastie a lot! She'd be a funny little treking partner/canoe dog.

Yep. I was getting ready to move first week of May. She pulled an anti-gun bs on me; said my carrying a firearm was really bothering her. She asked if I'd ever consider not having or carrying one. I said "of course, as I plan to always have at least five or six". She wasn't happy. I agree; isn't "love" wonderful?
To tell you the truth, I find it really sickening that we've reached a point in society where one's willingness to defend self and loved ones is looked at with disdain and contempt. Anyway, she's a good person, but totally confused and misguided. Ah well. Maybe I'll get lucky in North Carolina. Are there still any good, God fearing, pro-gun women left that aren't taken?

you can have mine..... Shoopay is single....she aint with me no more....
I'm a lucky one...coming up on our 38th and have an outstanding Wife...doesn't personally hunt or shoot but totally understands and supports it all...and every now and then a few stacks of flannel cleaning patches find their way out of her quilting area too...she's a great gal!
