Yes, nearly all rifles take a #11 cap. no matter what the cal., unless they use musket caps, then you need a Musket cap nipple. These are normally on military muskets like the '61 Remington and Zouave i believe.
Nipples made to accept #11 caps would have to be made to the dimensions necessary to accept that cap, regardless of caliber...ie: a 1/4"x28 #11 TC (or HotShot) nipple fits all TC Hawken & Renegade rifles regardless if .45/.50/.54/.58cal.
Other physical dimension differences may exist on the remainder of a nipples design based upon what brand of rifle it's made for, threads may be different size and length, etc.
