I made a range box lets see some more.

The ole yellow plastic toolbox was getting cramped..it followed me to alot of shoots.I went to get a bigger one and nothing was as good but bigger SO i used some 1/4 inch hardwood plywood and 2x1/4 inch strapping,keeping it as light as i could.Stained it Green ....but just plain nothing for appeal, being blank green.NEEDED to feature it UP..with 2 weeks of viking art painting(heritage) ,and added a runes theme of freedom. TOP circles are protection and prosperity

I have many dedicated smoothbore/rifle/tool boxes but here's my latest. It's a ball, patch, and powder box for days when I take multiple rifles to the range. It hold three cans of powder laying flat in the bottom.

Everything I need for a day at the range except for the range rod fits in a .30 cal. ammo can. Small, light, handy.

I like boxes, carved ones especially. But i do like the organizing in that one Bob
not a range box below, but for my carving tools when i travel. It`s not done yet and it`s 12 years old

Yes, there are a few guys over on ALR who make them and sell them in the for sale section there. Solid boxes. I had the RB tray custom made by him. Cost an extra 10$ or so.

I made a pistol box for a friend and made an extra as well. Many oak strips glued up.The square compartment holds two 1 lb cans of powder.

Ok, disclaimer: I am not a craftsman, I do good to sharpen a pencil. However, I do enjoy making a lot of the stuff I use . First two pictures are of my pistol box. Others are for my cannon. Is the cannon box functional? Absolutely. Is it pc/hc? Naw.
