Can I assume you've found the mold you need and close this thread?Great. That will work. I dont mind the wait. Thanks.
Yes please. Can I assume you've found the mold you need and close this thread?
I reopened this WANTED listing because it seems that Tom found out that the Brownell listing for the .526 diameter mold was actually a mis-print. It actually turned out to be a .562 (9/16") mold so, he is still looking for a .526 diameter mold.
dadgummitindeed. Rasafrasarickfric...Well, dadgummit! I was going to order one of those .526" moulds from Brownell's. I was just waiting until I figured out what else to add to the order.
It seems most of the roundball mould-makers now have pared down their product offerings to the most popular dozen or so sizes, which are also the most easily obtained precast and swaged sizes. Lee will make custom moulds but the cost is prohibitive for individuals.
Sigh...

It’s on their web page. Tooling/setup charge is the killer.I'll send a note to Lee and inquire as to the minimum order quantity for a custom.

I did not find any current offerings on Ebay.I did a search to see what I could find and only success was e-bay.
You might send a note to Dixie, Log Cabin and The Gun Works to see if there is any chance one of them has one sitting on a back shelf they never did sell.
Or typos.I've come across a lot of things on the web that were out of date
I see if you order 40 or more of that strange size bullet mold, they will waive the $250 set up fee.
If I show my targets at 120 yards all the .54 shooters may want one...I saw that, also. Might be worthwhile to poll the forum members, just to see how many might be interested.
