This under size Colerain barrel disturbs me, if the manufacturer is choosing to cut odd size barrels they should be a source for molds for them. Alternatively if they are not intentionally making odd sized barrels what wrong with here quality control that let odd sized barrels leave their factory. Reminds me of Ruger’s and Remington quality controls.

I reopened this WANTED listing because it seems that Tom found out that the Brownell listing for the .526 diameter mold was actually a mis-print. It actually turned out to be a .562 (9/16") mold so, he is still looking for a .526 diameter mold.
Yes, it appears the only source will be a used Lyman. Please advise if you come across one.
Well, dadgummit! I was going to order one of those .526" moulds from Brownell's. I was just waiting until I figured out what else to add to the order.
It seems most of the roundball mould-makers now have pared down their product offerings to the most popular dozen or so sizes, which are also the most easily obtained precast and swaged sizes. Lee will make custom moulds but the cost is prohibitive for individuals.

Actually dropped one in my Brownells cart and was going to order just because. Went back and checked after seeing thread reopened, and noticed the while their item description was still showing .526”, the item in my cart changed to .562”...... cart is now empty.

I did not find any current offerings on Ebay.
I see if you order 40 or more of that strange size bullet mold, they will wave the $250 set up fee.
There might be a catch to it though.
I've come across a lot of things on the web that were out of date so they show old prices. If that ad was old, the set up fee could be up to $300 now.
