Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Old km fe blades are cheap at flea markets . I've bought corn knives , long working blades almost like a machete , and you can make 3-4 knives out of that blade depending on the length of knives . Very good carbon steel but dont grind it too hot to cut or form them . Work them wet and wet them often in the process . Made one 30 years ago is still an excellent knife . Wood slabs for handle or even antler base .
The knife I Made over 30 years ago from a corn knife blade . Its gut and skinned a lot of deer ! It was a bit longer at the beginning , for authentic long knife , but I shortened it and it works nicer at this length .
