I need help finding a spring for a Navy Arms Hawkens Hunter 58 caliber. It is the spring that engages the sear. It is a flat spring kind of bent in a hairpin shape. Has a screw going through it and a shoulder that fits into lock. Mine broke where screw goes through. Any ideas???? Tried the obvious, Sarco, Navy Arms and many other sites on-line. Season opens friday so won't be using this one this year. Be using my T&C renegade. Thanks in advance for any help. Steve

Did you talk to Dixie Gun Works? They tend to have small parts that either fit that particular gun, or can be fitted to it with a little file work.

Ditto on the Dixie Gun Works. Just last week I called them for a mainspring on a very obsolete Armi San Marco rifle. They acted like "no problem". The lock is there now getting fitted with a new spring. Great service.

I replaced a broken mainspring in 3 days by using Dixie gunworks.
